Dr. Cass Peter J. Cass, O.D.
Dr. Cass is a 2000 graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry. He received additional clinical training in contact lenses, and is a member of the Contact Lens Society of America. Dr Cass was raised in Beaumont Texas, where he attended Lamar University and received his undergraduate degrees in Biology & Psychology. Dr. Cass is therapeutically certified in the treatment of eye diseases and injuries and is an optometric glaucoma specialist. He is a member the American Optometric Association, and serves on the board of the Texas Optometric Association. In his free time he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

Dr. Lauren Nelson Lauren Nelson, O.D.

Dr. Lauren (Rinando) Nelson is a native of Beaumont. She has returned to practice as a therapeutic optometrist after being away to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated from both schools Summa Cum Laude and received the Beta Sigma Kappa Silver Metal from UHCO for achieving the highest grade point average in her class. In her free time, Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew and continuing to improve her Spanish

Don Pierson, Lab Manager
Don is our lab lab manager and manages production of lenses for all of our locations. He is certified by the American Board of Opticians and has been in the optical industry for over 30 years. Don strives to produce only the highest quality eyeglasses using our state of the art in office lens processing equipment.
